WindowTreat began in 2006 when Steve and Chris set out to understand how window films and shading fabrics behave on modern glazing. What started as a technical challenge became a commitment to managing light so people can enjoy their glazing and their homes throughout the year. They recognised early that comfort, clarity and architectural beauty all depend on effective light control.
Today they work with architects, high-end builders and homeowners to ensure glazed spaces remain comfortable and enjoyable to live and work in. Their focus is on systems that perform in real conditions and add long-term value for anyone behind the glass.
This work led to the S.H.A.D.E framework, a clear way to visualise the principles behind shading large areas of glass. It reflects years of study and hands-on experience, with an emphasis on minimalism, performance and longevity.
Steve brings a broad, strategic view to the business. His approachable personality makes him a natural leader. He is recognised as the General Manager. His skill in software modelling and understanding performance data lends him well to post-build window film solutions and the project management of commercial installations.
Chris specialises in the detail. He guides homeowners and architects from vision to completion, ensuring that every element is considered with care. He has developed product portfolio;s so that the right systems, fabrics and films are available, allowing every project to be delivered without compromise.
