As our Operations Director and a co-founder of our parent company back in 2006, Chris is the lead technical specialist who guides homeowners from that first moment of frustration to the final ‘wow’ of a perfect space.

“I have two electric blinds in my own home,” he explains. “They’re programmed to close automatically 15 minutes before dusk and open in the morning, so I get the benefit of natural light when it’s there and privacy in the evening without having to think about it.”
“But the real game-changer is the sun sensor. If I’m out and the room starts to get too hot, the blinds close by themselves. I can come back hours later and find the room is comfortable because the blinds have been working for me while I’ve been away. It’s not just a mechanical blind; it’s an intelligent system.“
He often adds with a smile that his daughter’s blind is much the same: “To be honest, if she couldn’t just talk to her blind to open it, it would probably stay shut all day!”
