Sliding & Bi-Fold Door Electric Blinds Heritage

For generations, British homes have embraced the elegance of sliding and bifold doors.   Celebrated for the way they dissolve boundaries and flood living spaces with natural light. Yet with expansive glazing comes the age‑old challenge of managing heat, glare, and privacy. Today’s blinds continue that heritage of thoughtful craftsmanship, giving homeowners precise control over comfort while preserving the beauty and openness that define modern architectural living.

Electric roller blinds are the most popular choice because they provide smooth operation, wide‑span coverage, and a clean architectural finish. For very wide openings, ZoomTech Deflect Zero technology ensures the fabric stays perfectly flat without bowing or deflection.

ZoomTech bearing technology stops wide roller blinds deflecting even on narrow fabric tubes.   It is important as deflection causes an undesirable V effect on the fabric as it sags.  It gives our customers choice of multiple blinds or a single blind for their Sliding & Bi-fold door blinds

Yes. Blindspace concealment boxes allow blinds to disappear completely into the architecture. The blind, side channels, and wiring are all hidden, leaving only clean glazing and pure design when the blinds are open.

Absolutely. Dual electric blinds are common for bifold and sliding doors. Typically, one blind provides daytime solar control (screen fabric) and the second offers blackout or privacy. Both blinds operate independently for maximum flexibility.

Yes. Motorised curtain tracks can be used instead of, or alongside, blinds. They’re ideal for softening large glazed areas, improving acoustics, and adding a luxury interior finish. Tracks can also be concealed within Blindspace for a seamless look.

External screens are motorised fabric screens fitted outside the glazing. They stop heat before it enters the home, making them the most effective solution for overheating. They’re ideal for south‑ and west‑facing bifold doors, large sliders, and garden rooms.

Our typical lead times are 7–12 weeks, depending on the systems.

We offer a full service from survey through to installation for all our electric blind and awning systems. Our team handles everything, ensuring the products are specified correctly and installed to the highest standard. Blindspace concealment boxes are supply‑only, as they are an intricate building component that must be installed by your builder during the construction phase.
