Maximum Heat Rejection. Maximum Comfort

Large glazed roofs, verandas and conservatories bring extraordinary daylight into a home, but they also invite intense solar gain. Without external shading, these spaces can quickly overheat, becoming uncomfortable during peak summer months.

Perseus is engineered to stop the heat before it reaches the glass, delivering up to 95% heat rejection while preserving natural daylight and architectural clarity.

With four specialised systems.  Standard, Coupled, Veranda, and the Side‑Zipped versions.  Perseus provides tailored solar protection for conservatories.

Full Cassette Headbox

A slim, fully enclosed cassette creates a clean architectural finish while hiding the fabric and mechanism completely from view.

Protects the blind from rain, debris and UV exposure when retracted, ensuring long-term performance and visual integrity.

Optimum Fabric Tension

A precision double‑coiled spring maintains constant tension, keeping the fabric taut and stable.

Engineered to withstand wind speeds up to 24mph without excessive movement or distortion

Durable Construction

All hardware is manufactured from corrosion‑resistant, extruded aluminium for exceptional longevity.

Finished in Pure White or Anthracite Grey as standard, with optional RAL Classic colours for full design integration.

Water‑Repellent, Fade‑Resistant Fabrics

Premium acrylic fabrics designed not to stretch, warp or tear.

Available in an extensive palette of exclusive colours and textures.

Up to 95% heat rejection for superior solar control

The Birth of Perseus Shading

Perseus was born from decades of shading innovation, created to solve one growing challenge in modern homes: the intense heat build‑up beneath large glazed roofs and conservatories. As architecture embraced bigger spans of overhead glass, traditional blinds could no longer cope. Perseus evolved as a purpose‑built external system that stops heat at the source, delivering maximum solar rejection and comfort.

All Perseus models deliver up to 95% heat rejection, dramatically reducing solar gain.

Perseus is a family of external roof‑shading systems engineered to stop heat before it reaches the glass. It’s suitable for lean-to, wide-span & irregular conservatory roofs and varandas that need high‑performance solar control.

  • Perseus Standard: For rectangular Conservatory roof sections with an extendable option of up to 1.25m

  • Perseus Coupled: Multiple units linked for wider rectangular roof glazing. Increases width coverage of the Standard by up to 5m for each system

  • Perseus Veranda: Designed for irregular roof which would not get the required shading with a rectangular awning.

  • Perseus Side‑Zipped: Edge zipped fabric for a larger rectangular roof coverage with more resistance to stronger winds.

Pure White and Anthracite Grey are standard. You can also choose from the full RAL Classic range for complete architectural integration.

Yes indeed and there are choices

Dickson Acrylic Fabrics (Standard Option)

Overview

Dickson’s solution‑dyed acrylic fabrics are the industry benchmark for traditional awnings. They offer excellent durability, colour stability and weather resistance, making them ideal for everyday solar protection.

Key Benefits

  • High UV resistance: Protects interiors from fading

  • Water‑repellent finish: Rain beads and rolls off the surface

  • Breathable weave: Allows airflow, reducing heat build‑up beneath the awning

  • Soft textile appearance: A classic, fabric‑rich aesthetic

  • Extensive colour palette: Wide choice of plains, textures and stripes

Performance

  • Excellent for general shading

  • Strong durability in UK weather

  • Ideal for customers prioritising a softer, more traditional awning look

Yes. Sun and wind sensors allow the system to extend or retract automatically based on real‑time conditions.

Compatible with Somfy Tahoma Switch

Somfy hardwired motor options allow integration with home automation systems.

Most installations are completed in one day, depending on size and complexity.

Its always best to think of the Perseus as a long term solution rather than a quick fix.  Lead times can be up to 10-12 weeks.

The Perseus Side-Zipped Conservatory roof system can cover 6m wide by 5m long.

Other Perseus models vary in their sizing depending on width.
